THE MAGIC OF VINTAGE WINE GLASSES

A set of simple glasses, there is of course nothing wrong with that. Yet blogger Rachel has a mixed bag in her cupboard, because she collects vintage wine glasses with relief. In this blog she shares why she loves it so much and how the glasses add a touch of magic to the interior.

Enjoy a glass of wine

Every drink tastes better when it comes out of a nice glass. That gives it just that little bit of extra class. Whether I'm cooking alone, having a barbecue with the family or sitting on the terrace, a nice drink is always welcome in my opinion. Sitting on the terrace is now less obvious than before, so I like to put extra energy at home in creating a beautiful and pleasant evening. I hang lights in the garden or living room, put tasty snacks on the table and invite a few friends over for a drink you can also check this luxury dinner setFor me this is relaxation, fun and enjoyment. Of course, such an evening also includes beautiful, matching wine glasses to enjoy extra everywhere.

Vintage wine glasses

I have a love for vintage wine glasses with relief in them. The glasses have beautiful shapes in the glass that create surprising shadows when the light shines on them. Whether you serve it rosé, a cocktail or lemonade, it looks magical! The drinks sparkle in the sun and are almost too good to drink. My wine glasses are not all identical. I saved up several glasses for a long time. I scored one through an Albert Heijn campaign, found the other in the thrift store or got it from grandpa and grandma. Yet they fit together because they have one thing in common: relief in the glass. I think the varied glasses look very attractive together. And if I drop a glass once, I don't necessarily have to find the same one, a nice extra.

Gem in space

These beautiful glasses are also nice to give a special place in your kitchen, room or display cabinet when they are not in use. For example, choose a place where the glasses catch sunlight, then the figures in the wine glasses will reflect the sunlight and your entire room will shine. At those moments I can't resist grabbing my camera, it's worth a photo! In addition to vintage wine glasses, there are also many water, whiskey and tea glasses with relief that are gems for your interior and make every drink stand out. This way I enjoy the glasses as much as the drink.
